Tata Jagriti Yatra 2009

MY Experiments with Truth Starts

Dear All,

Not many times in life you get an opportunity to live a dream you have always thought of on personal front ( something which you wanted to do in life and not influenced by your parents/freinds/relatives/seniors). For me exploring my
country is one such dream that i am carrying with me since the age of 4.

Tata Jagriti Yatra provides opportunity of exploring india from the prespective of a social sector enterprise and cooperative movement.

The process of selection is very very competitive ( Close to 12000 people applied this year) and involves

Step 1 essay writing on various subjects related to social entrepreneurship.
Step 2 is personal interview conducted by eminent people to understand applicant’s level of commitment.
Finally close 25-30 people from various professional domains are selected and will be given orientation on leadership and how to handle a diverse group ( in terms of social/economic/demographic/geographic profiles).

Mentioned below are Yatra details i strongly urge you to take part in next year's selection process which will start in Feb-March 2010.

What is hugely important is to dream and then wake up to achieve it. As Sharukh Khan said in Om Shanti Om " kahte hain agar kisi cheez ko poorey dil se chaho to poori kaynaat use tum se milaaney main jut jati hain".
